    Temp and Speed Data mod for 747, L45 & 737

    Good Morning all;

    The "Reckless Modifier" strikes again.

    After I fixed the CRJ MFD, I got spoiled by all the info that it includes...I like knowing the outside air temp (Static Air Temp or SAT) and True Airspeed at the very least.  I found that the displays on the 737, 747 and Lear45 leave out one or both of these pieces of information, so I created a little fix for it.  The files in the zip at http://flywestwind.com/communityserver/files/folders/uploads/entry19031.aspx add the following features:

    1) The edited B737-800.cab file changes the EICAS to display Static Air Temperature instead of Total Air Temperature.  SAT is a calculated ambient temperature for jets at high speeds, and is a more useful number to know than TAT.

    2) The TempSpeed.cab and the revised panel.cfg files for the B747 and Lear45 add a pop-up window in the lower right corner that displays the following info: Time(UTC), TAS, GS, SAT & TAT.  Just hit Shift+8 or Shift+2 respectively.

    Install instructions and a 747 screenshot are included.

    I hope you enjoy it up there above FL180!
