Level D Sim 767 for FSX

    Well folks,

After a long talk with a fellow AHM and also a lot of research on my end I finally broke down and bought my first payware plane for FSX. I didn't have a lot of time last night to really even begin to check out this plane, but if it flies anywhere close to how good this plane looks it is going to be amazing. I got to play around with some switches for about 20 minutes and found out just how complex this plane is going to be. I also opened up the manual for this plane and it is 197 or so pages long so it looks like I have a lot of studying to do before I attempt to get this bad boy off the ground.

I love the fact that there is interaction with the crew. They kept ringing me about cabin temperature and I thought that was a really neat feature you just don't get from a basic FS plane.

I will post more of my opinion as I get more familiar with this aircraft but if first impressions mean anything I would say that you should jump off the fence and get an excellant payware aircraft.

    Pranas,

I'll send you an e-mail as soon as I get home from work. I'll also try to be on VATSIM as long as I can get out of work early today. Appreciate all your help.

Once I get this thing in the air I'll fly over to Amsterdam and buy you dinner. You definitely helped me get off the fence and buy this aircraft so that is the least I can do.

Lucky for me we both had long flights on VATSIM at the same time huh... :)

    Jose,

I could give you some shots but they have a ton of them at www.leveldsim.com They probably have 50 total shots and they are awesome. If you would still like some however shoot me a message and I will get some for you.

There is Westwind paint available for this plane as well, if anyone was wondering.  Can be downloaded from the Westwind main page.  Requires the payware plane already installed.

Re: Level D Sim 767 for FSX

    Thanks Scott,

Got the WestWind colors on my plane and it looks great.

I had one little problem with elevator trim that took me some time to figure out. It would just keep changing values on its own making the plane impossible to fly. I just deleted the keyboard settings for it and it stopped. Weird but I only use the joystick anyway so no loss to me. I did get this plane off the ground and she is a pleasure to fly. Everything about this plane is attention to detail.

I give it 5 stars and say it is amazing.

I have to give a big thanks to Pranas who spent hours on VATSIM with me typing like a mad man to help teach me some of the best features of this plane.
