From now in flight Restrictions will be implemented for flights from the London Heathrow hub. I would like to thank Ian Crawford for allowing us to use his idea.
Current Restrictions:
- Flights to Hong Kong are to be suspended until 1200GMT on the 24/08 due to Tropical Storm Nuri which is due to hit the city today.
- I would like to encourage our pilots to fly from any Westwind hub to Beijing to help cope with the high amounts of passengers travelling to and from the Olympics.
- Please also be aware that Hurricane Fay is still knocking around the North-East Caribeen and Florida. Due to this I reccomend cancelling all flights to this area, but the final decision is up to the pilot. If you do decide to divert, I reccomend KIAD and KDFW.
- Any London based pilots flying through EDDF, I reccomend you read through their Flight Restrictions as Frankfurt serves many cities that London does not.
