K...I was gonna stay out of this one, but as a medical professional I must step in.

Max, my dear friend.... you ARE aware that they now have medicine that you can take for "Cubs Fever" right?  I mean, I hate to see a fellow Chicagoan suffer through such a debilitating illness.  Much like "Friends don't let friends drive drunk", I must state "Friends don't let friends pay top $$ to watch minor league baseball".

I'm sure with some intervention and a solid 12 step program, we can get you back on the right pathway!  Keep your chin up...

The Chicago Cubs: Scaring T-Ball teams everywhere since 1876.

      Actually, in Dan Patrick's column in the latest Sports Illustrated, he took a look at the Cubs curse and came up with two funny excuses:

         1) The Cubs haven't played bad baseball, its just been a 100 years of bad umpires.
         2) You can't expect to win if Ernie Banks can only hit 512 home runs.
