Evening Captains!
Starting June 1, 2008 Each WWA Hub will be holding individual screenshot competitions. Beginning on the 1st of the month until the 15th, pilots will submit photos to the Hub Manager or Assistant Hub Manager for selection of the top 5 photos to be voted on. From the 20th to the 24th the hub members will then vote for the best photo from their hub. After the 1 photo is chosen it will go into a pool with the winner from all other WWA Hubs from the 25th thru the last day of the month voting will take place for the whole airline.
After the winner is chosen that photo will be displayed on the main WWA home page (in place of the WW Denver terminal scenery) and stay there for the duration of the month until the next months winner is chosen.
To take screenshots FSX: hit the v key. The photo then is in your Flight Simulator X Files in My Documents
FS9: Hit PRNTSCRN key. Go to paint, paste it, and save it.
Many other programs to catch shots can be downloaded such as FRAPS or FSScreen.
So as stated above, it starts on June 1st, and screenshots must be in by the 15th. (These dates will apply the same in later months)
We will take both edited and unedited...(I have seen great unedited ones too!)
Pilots are to submit 1 photo only per month, all photos must have Pilot name, WWA# date taken and a brief description of the photo. The screenshot must be from a flight during the month of the competition. Ex: A pilot cannot submit a screenshot taken in May for the June competition.
Matt and I will both mutually judge the screenshots to get the top 5 which we then will turn to you to vote on. The top will be sent in to Phil Cohen to compete for the airlines competetion for that month.
**Please send screenshots to myself of Matt either through email or catch either of us on AIM and send it that way. I think the best way would be a Jpg under lets go 3MB (That should be plenty!) and to help keep organized make the subject of the email and the name of your picture Name, WWA ID, Title, Date, Edited/Unedited . If you need to, we can take other image types, but JPG is the smallest file type.
Let's see your shots!
(P.S.- I have attached a sample image, title for this would be: Johnny Ginley WWA1559 'Clear Climb' 2/14/08 Edited Dont worry, HMs and AHMs cant submit, so that doesnt count as a submission! Only a sample for the title!!)
