Monthly WWA Screenshot Competition
Starting June 1, 2008 Each WWA Hub will be holding individual screenshot competitions. Beginning on the 1st of the month until the 15th, pilots will submit photos to the Hub Manager or Assistant Hub Manager for selection of the top 5 photos to be voted on. From the 20th to the 25th the hub members will then vote for the best photo from their hub. After the 1 photo is chosen it will go into a pool with the winner from all other WWA Hubs from the 26th thru the last day of the month voting will take place for the whole airline.
After the winner is chosen that photo will be displayed on the main WWA home page (in place of the WW Denver terminal scenery) and stay there for the duration of the month until the next months winner is chosen.
Hub Managers and Assistant Hub Managers are ineligible for posting in this competition.
Some General guidelines:
Timeline: Submission of screenshots 1st thru the 15th(for June 2008),
Screenshots will be accepted from the 16th thru the 15th day of the current monthly competition.
HM and AHM decide on the top 5 screenshots, 16th thru 19th
Hub voting for top screenshot 20th thru 24th
General vote for top WWA screenshot 25th thru the last day of the month)
Each HM or AHM should do the following after they have decided on the top 5 photos for the hub. On the 19th send and e-mail to your pilots with the 5 photos you have selected and have then reply with the one they want to vote for.
Pilots are to submit 1 photo only per month, all photos must have Pilot name, WWA# date taken and a brief description of the photo.
The screenshot must be from a flight during the month of the competition. Ex: A pilot cannot submit a screenshot taken in May for the June competition.
EDIT: Screenshots will be accepted from the 16th until the 15th of the current month of the competition, to allow pilots to submit a photo if it was taken after the 15th deadline.
To take screenshots FSX: hit the v key. The photo then is in your Flight Simulator X Files in My Documents
FS9: Hit PRNTSCRN key. Go to paint, paste it, and save it.
Many other programs to catch shots can be downloaded such as FRAPS or FSScreen.

luckily for you HM's and AHM's are not eligible, however our upper management is so get out there, get flying and take some great photos.
