No scenery objects in FSX Dnever Scenery

I ask that all questions or concerns with WestWind scenery be posted here, rather than emailing me, for 2 reasons:

    1.  Others may be able to provide assistance when I am not available (as was the case below)

    2.  Others will learn from the questions and resolutions to the problems posted here resulting in (I hope) avoiding having to answer the same questions multiple times.

This is the most recent question/problem, and my response:

    Problem:

i downloaded the denver scenery from the west wind website. i got the terminal, matanince cargo, and traning scenery files.  however im haveing some roblems, i installed like the readme said, but the parking areas and spots are there, but i dont see any buildings, no hangers are FBO'S. and on the terminal  the building is there, but some things are missing, like the static objects and signs.  it really dosent look anything like the screen shots. is there anything you can do to help me.

    Response:

From your description of the problem you are experiencing, it sounds like you did not set up the "Objects Library" in the FSX Scenery library.  You must add that folder to the scenery library.  It contains all of the objects and textures that you describe as missing.

Each of the WestWind Hub Scenery packages that Ed and I produce contain all of the library objects and textures needed for that scenery. These are placed in a separate folder:  \addon scenery\Object Library   This folder MUST be selected in the FS9 or FSX scenery Library, along with the specific WWVA xxxx Folder.  Once the Object Library folder has been selected for the first time, it will not be necessary to select it again with subsequent WestWind Scenery installations.  Any additional  scenery packages will simply add to the existing Objects Library folder.
