    Hub Newsletter-Feb 2008

    Greetings Captains!

Another busy month here at Westwind Airlines!!! No major changes to announce this month, but we have been doing some flying :)

So on to this months numbers:

    222 flights for 398.1 hours
104 of those flights were passenger flights
    6 were cargo flights
    110 were charters
    1 training flight

The most popular route was KSFO-KSEA flown 4 times. That shows the diversity of our pilots doesn't it??

The most popular aircraft was the Lear 45 flown 64 times

This month, Kevin Stanley (WWA2018) was our most active pilot, logging 72 flights for a total of 142.8 hours
I think you need to get a life Kevin!!!!! (Just kidding...Great Job!!!)

We had some promotions this month as well....
        * Kevin Stanley (WWA2018) was promoted to Cat III on 2/4/2008
        * Michael Schinler (WWA1810) was promoted to Senior Captain on 2/10/2008
        * Kevin Stanley (WWA2018) was promoted to Cat IV on 2/13/2008

        * Michael VanHoose (WWA2015) was promoted to Cat III on 2/29/2008
    Congratulations Captains!!!!!!

Eric Nielsen (WWA1239) was given a Pilot Recognition Award for 2 Years of WestWind Service on 2/21/2008
Thank you for your service Eric!!!
There are still a few of you out there that have not given me your original hire date. As you know, several awards are now automatically given based on your hire date. I have tried to contact those of you whom this affects. I believe most (if not all) pilots who are missing hire dates in their records are eligible for at least one award. You will not be given these until I can update your files, so please let me know.

As always, feel free to contact Darrel or myself if you have any questions or suggestions. We are here to help in any way possible to make Westwind and Seattle a great place to be.

Until next time, I'll see you at the gates.....
