Hey All,
I promised some changes as soon as I got here, and here they are! As of 13 Feb, 2008 at 0125z we have some new route changes for the Frankfurt Hub!
Sadly, we have to announce some closures to streamline our operations a bit. No longer being served are: Billund, DK. Catania, Italy, Cork, IE, Frankfurt-Hahn, Cincinnati, USA and Shannon, IE.
However, we do have some new route open for our pilots, with some new routes being planned.
To Africa:
Cape Town, South Africa
To Arabia:
Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Inter-Europe
Helsinki, Finland
Riga, Latvia
Tallinn, Estonia
Munich, Germany
....and new, modified times for Zurich, Switzerland
South America
Buenos Aires, Argentina (Ezeiza Int'l Airport)
And announcing the latest news....
Be ready for Asian expansion into such locations at Tokyo, Beijing, Singapore, Shanghai, and other cities in the very near future!
My next plan for the hub is to work on some new, short routes for our lower time pilots that would focus on the Benelux area, perhaps heading into Poland as well. My goal by adding and modifying these routes is to give our European pilots more of a focus on aviation in Europe with such smaller capitals as Riga, Tallinn and Vilnius and ignore the more well known cities such as Rome/London, etc. Hopefully, I'll be ready to roll out some more changes in the next two weeks for everyone. If you have any complaints, send me an email or stop by my office!
