Hi, I just got into the ZNY ARTCC at KEWR and I am going through my initial training.  I have a fairly decent understanding of how everything operates except for ASRC.  I am fairly ignorant when it comes to computers and there seems to be a lot .this and .that commands to run things.  I have read the users manual but I still feel lost.  I've logged on to ASRC as an OBS and played around as much as I been comfortable doing but that hasn't been much. 

Basically, I am wondering if I someone could give me the "ASRC for dummies"  or "how to".  I know that I probably should ask a MEN or INS but I honestly feel a lot more at ease by coming to the pros at WWA before the "only controller" guys.  Well, if anyone could help me in any way, I would greatly appreciate it.  We can find a way to get into specifics later.

I'm a C1 controller in the KZSE ARTCC (Seattle) - however we use VRC as our standard radar client, so I'm only familiar with that :( ... if KZNY gives you the option of ASRC or VRC, and you want to use VRC, I can help you with that, but I've never touched ASRC :(
